Hospitality veteran Jennie Chua brings a "new chapter of growth" to Temasek Foundation as its chairman. Singapore’s Temasek Foundation has appointed Jennie Chua (pictured) as chairman effective 1 September 2024.  Chua steps into the role after having served as board member of Temasek Foundation since its beginnings in 2007.  “As we welcome Ms Jennie Chua into this role, we look forward to an exciting new chapter of growth for the organisation,” Temasek Foundation said in a statement, noting the wealth of experience that Chua brings from a long and distinguished career in the hospitality industry. Chua, aged 80, was the chief executive officer of hotel operators Raffles Holdings and Ascott Group.  In 2009, she was the first woman to take up the role of chairman of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce. According to the Singapore Women's Hall of Fame, she was also the chairman of the Community Chest of Singapore and is its adviser.  Chua has several National Day Awards to her name, including the Distinguished Service Order this year, the Public Service Medal in 2004, Public Service Star in 2008 and Meritorious Service Medal in 2014.  Chua succeeds Benny Lim...
