Only 40% of Singaporean investors are satisfied with their wealth management firm’s mobile app, which they regard as an important tool, according to IT consulting firm Accenture.
Creating an optimal digital client experience is crucial for wealth management firms looking to retain existing business and attract new customers, said the second edition of The Future of Wealth Management Asia report published by Accenture in July 2023.
The surveyed investors ranked mobile apps as the most important physical or digital channel provided by their wealth management firm.
The report said it is imperative that Singaporean wealth management firms address clients’ needs with their mobile offerings as they contend with market volatility and lower growth outlooks.
“A well-designed, reliable mobile app with a wide array of features and functionality is imperative to the growth and retention goals of wealth management firms in Asia,” said David Wilson, Accenture’s wealth management lead for growth markets.
