The Centre for Computing for Social Good and Philanthropy at the National University of Singapore has appointed deputy director Prabhu Natarajan to the top post effective from next year.
The Centre for Computing for Social Good and Philanthropy (CCSGP), a community service and philanthropy research unit under the School of Computing (SoC) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), will see its first-ever leadership reshuffle next year with the founding director being succeeded by his deputy.
CCSGP deputy director Prabhu Natarajan will be promoted to director effective from 1 January 2025, succeeding founding director Ben Leong, an associate professor at NUS SoC who set up the organisation three years ago.

The centre told PhilanthropyAsia the change will bring no fundamental alterations to its operations in the short term.
Natarajan, a 40-year-old doctor of philosophy (PhD) in computer science, is a senior lecturer at NUS SoC, and a long-time volunteer for local community centres and in CCSGP activities.
