The new leader of the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) aims to enhance donor experience and facilitate giving as the organisation pursues a fresh approach to address the evolving needs of local communities. The appointment of Paul Tan as chief executive officer (CEO) on 1 April was part of a wider organisational transformation which included the launch of a new brand identity as well as updated vision and mission. “Philanthropy is about doing good and helping to build a more caring, thriving community. Our new mission captures this raison d’etre: CFS is a trusted partner which enables givers to fulfil their philanthropic purpose to do good,” Tan told PhilanthropyAsia. “And the vision that serves as a true north is a generous society with communities that care and thrive,” he added.
