Citi Private Bank has launched new philanthropy advisory solutions in Asia, starting in Singapore, to meet the increasing demand from its ultra-high-net-worth clients. Citi Private Bank is expanding its philanthropy advisory services in Asia, introducing solutions that include donor-advised funds and partnerships with regional charities. "A US$100 trillion inter-generation wealth transfer is occurring, and the next generation often has distinct values and philanthropic priorities such as climate change and social inequality," Lee Lung-Nien, Asia South chairman at Citi Private Bank, said in a statement issued on 19 March. "Our new offering caters to a growing trend of clients who want a more structured and customised approach to giving," he added. The growing philanthropic interest of its wealthy clients, especially the next generation, is prompting Citi Private Bank to expand its advisory services in Asia; however, the bank has not provided a schedule for extending these services to other regional locations.
